Bold Prediction for 2022: Antisemitism is back, baby!
This year is all about finding that 'retro-cool thing' and just 'mindlessly going with it.'
Forget bell-bottoms, tiny sunglasses and hiking boots — 2022 is all about bringing back Antisemitism.
"Antisemitism is one of those things that’s always kind of lurking, but isn’t always at the forefront of cultural trend,” writes Linda McDonald, a recent graduate from some school in America.
Every year Antisemitism gets a few headlines, but several forecasters are pretty sure that this year is ‘the big one.’
“We’re definitely calling 2022 the year of full-fledged Jew hatred,” says one red-faced television correspondent, Jim Whiteman, who admitted to throwing back a few gin gimlets before the show.
“God, I hope I’m right. I hate HATE being wrong. FUCK THE JEWS!…Too far? Is that’s too far?”
With big contributions from places like France, Hungary, the entire Middle East, a lot of places in South America, and America’s deep south, it’s looking like 2022 could very well feel like 1941.
A few fashion journalists are calling ‘blood libels’ the comeback kid of 2022, after ‘Jew Horns’ trended on Twitter for 38 straight days.
“We’re seeing eye popping similarities and it’s so so so exciting,” McDonald wrote last week in her column. “Between the signs and the fist pumping and the blood red eyes…I’m getting pretty excited…”
A few notable climate experts are also jumping on board the trend after talking head, Rick Johnston, blamed the recent fires in Colorado on the Jews.
“If I was controlling the weather I’d be startin’ fires in crappier states like I dunno, Oregon? Is that even a state??” Johnston was heard ranting.
“Hey Jews. How about getting us some goddamn sunshine once in awhile down here huh?!”
Well, Rick, you can’t have good weather all the time — everyone knows that. And if you did, well that’s just a little bit greedy.
Luckily, greed is predicted to make a huge appearance in 2022.
on the edge but very funny
